The Deed is Done
I did it. I moved all my stuff to the new house. Well, not all my stuff. I did have the guys from 1800GotJunk to come and get, well, my junk… twice. There was a lot of junk. You see dear reader, my loft was over three thousand square feet. I had storage space beyond my wildest needs. Beyond I say because it let me keep stuff I never needed.
To be honest, not everything was moved or thrown out. I donated much to the Salvation Army and still have some items for a school and some books for a library. But yes, I did keep a lot. Amazing how many boxes I have here around me now. When you go from a space as large as I mentioned earlier to about twelve-hundred square feet, you will have a lot of boxes.
My future plans are to finish doing some painting and dealing with getting some new furniture. After that I will unpack everything and in the process decide what is needed. My goal is to sell the stuff I don’t need with any value or give it to charity. The rest I will toss.
You may find this entry rather dry and dull. I do too. But, this is the first night where I haven’t been moving anything in the last two weeks. I just installed several blinds so I can walk around in my skivvies without my neighbors getting a show. Now I’m tired. So please for give me.
I now release you to find a more interesting website.
